Bearcat-of-the-Week honours went to third-year Bearcat Marc Aucoin. His skillset gives the Bearcats options. A forward by nature, he converted to the defensive side of the game during the playoffs of his lone Midget year. Since becoming a Bearcat, he’s played both positions, assuming whatever role dealt his way.
He came up through the Truro Minor Program up to the Bantam AA level before he moved on to Newbridge Academy U18 hockey for two seasons. The 2018 pick became a Bearcat rookie defenceman in the 2018-2019 season. He fully understands the game making him reliable any time over the boards.

Covid restrictions are in force in Nova Scotia through to January 24th. There’s no question the MHL is considering all options in the hope of a startup next week. For sure MHL followers are ready for it.
