The Truro Bearcats have acquired Brandon Crowell and a 3rd round pick in the 2022 MHL Entry Draft from the Pictou County Weeks Crushers for Lucas Parsons and a conditional 6th round pick in the 2023 MHL Entry Draft.
Crowell was a 5th Round selection, 83rd overall, of the Crushers in the 2020 MHL Entry Draft. He’s spent the past two seasons at Mount Saint Charles Academy in Woonsocket, Rhode Island. The 17-year-old posted ten goals and 22 assists in 55 games for the U15 team in 2019-20. In 2020-21, Crowel tallied two goals and six assists in nine games for the academy’s U16 team.
Lucas Parsons was a 2nd Round selection, 18th overall, by the Bearcats in the 2019 MHL Entry Draft. In two seasons with Truro, Parsons had twelve goals and eleven assists in 23 games. He also had one goal and one assist in five games during last season’s Canadian Tire Cup Playoff Round Robin.
