The Truro Bearcats have acquired the rights to Tanner Humber-Dredge from the Estevan Bruins of the SJHL. The 18-year-old from St. John’s, Newfoundland was drafted by the Bearcats in the 8th Round, 89th overall, in the 2020 MHL Entry Draft.
In 2019-20, Humber-Dredge was named MVP of the Newfoundland U18 Major Hockey League. His 29 assists and 48 points in 30 games for the Pinnacle Growlers led the league, while his 19 goals were tied for third-most. Playing for St. John’s in 2018-19, he had 11 goals and 15 assists in 31 games.
