Bearcat-of-the-Week honours went to fourth year junior and second-year Bearcat, Holden Kodak, for being named team Captain. Last year, as a newcomer, he demonstrated his willingness to play a full 200-foot game, do the little things while being able to play all three forward positions. That made him a reliable Bearcat to be counted upon in all situations.
He got his hockey start in his hometown before advancing to the Yale Hockey Academy Prep program in Abbotsford, BC. In his U18 season of Canadian Secondary School Hockey, he was the Canadian Secondary School Hockey, top goal scorer (52), top point-getter (92), and was named Most Valuable Player. Following that 2017-2018 season, he moved to the WHL with the Kootenay Ice. He spent the 2019-2020 split between the Winnipeg Ice and Prince George Cougars (WHL) before finishing up with the West Kelowna Warriors (BCHL). His consistent play as a Bearcat and his approach to preparedness makes him a great role model for this young Bearcat team.
