MHL postpones several games this upcoming weekend

Attention fans, both our home games this Friday vs Campbellton and Saturday vs Valley have been postponed due to the effects from Hurricane Fiona.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Truro, N.S. (September 27, 2022) – There have been a number of changes to the Maritime Junior Hockey League (MHL) schedule for this upcoming weekend. The following games have been postponed due to the ongoing effects of Hurricane Fiona:

    • September 29th – Yarmouth at Pictou County
    • September 30th – Campbellton at Truro
    • October 1st – Valley at Truro
    • October 1st – Pictou County at Amherst

The game scheduled between the South Shore Lumberjacks and Valley Wildcats at Kings Mutual Century Centre on September 30th has been postponed. Instead, the game on October 28th between the Campbellton Tigers and Valley Wildcats at Kings Mutual Century Centre will be moved to that night.

Finally, the game on October 1st between the Grand Falls Rapids and the Miramichi Timberwolves at the Miramichi Civic Centre has been postponed due to rink availability.

An announcement will be made when all of the postponed games are rescheduled.
