TRURO, NS (August 31, 2025) –The Truro Bearcats are pleased to announce the signing of goaltender, Louca Connolly (Mercier, QC) for the 2025/26 season.
Connolly, 18, joins the Bearcats fresh off of a run at Cape Breton Eagles training camp. Louca spent last season in the QCHL where he appeared in 24 games with the CEGEP Outaouais Griffons.
He was drafted in the 10th round by the Quebec Remparts in the 2023 QMJHL Draft after a stellar season in U17 AAA with Lac St-Louis. Louca then made the jump to U18 AAA with the Gatineau L’Intrepide in 2023/24 where he appeared in 22 games.
