TRURO, NS (August 29, 2025)- The Truro Bearcats are pleased to announce the signing of 2025 draft pick, Drew Keiver (Dartmouth, NS) for the 2025/26 season.
Keiver, 18 has spent the past two seasons developing his game down south with Deerfield Academy in Massachusetts, getting to compete against some of the top prep schools in New England. This past season, Drew put up 38 points (14 goals, 24 assists) in 27 games which was second in team scoring.
Prior to his time at Deerfield, Keiver spent a year at Rothesay Netherwood School where he put up 45 points in 58 games as a first year player in U18. That same year, Drew was a key piece for Team Nova Scotia at the Canada Winter Games where he had 5 points in 6 games. His excellent season led to him being selected by the Moncton Wildcats in the 2023 QMJHL Draft.
Drew is a highly intelligent, two way forward that will fit right into our lineup. We are very excited that he chose Truro as his next path of development.
