The Truro Bearcats are pleased to announce the signing of reigning QCHL Rookie of the Year, Theo Gravel from the Champlain St-Lawrence Lions.
The 19 year old from Ste-Martine, Quebec is coming off of an outstanding season in the QCHL, putting up 47 points (22G 25A) which led all rookies and was tied for fourth in league scoring.
He continued that into the postseason, leading the Lions with 18 points including a goal and 2 assist performance in the championship clinching game to help the Lions win back to back QCHL championships.
Prior to the QCHL, the Victoriaville Tigres draft pick had an impressive 3 year run with the Chateauguay Grenadiers in M18, amassing 103 points in 126 games and also earning the QM18AAA Community Service Award.
Gravel is the first big piece confirmed to join our returning core as we look to build on our MHL championship season.
Welcome to Truro, Theo!
