Bearcat Bytes: Tanner Humber-Dredge

#2 Tanner Humber-Dredge
19-year-old Forward
St. John, NL
5’8”, 155 lbs.

Bearcat-of-the-Week honours went to forward, Tanner Humber-Dredge. Actually, any player on his line would be a candidate. In the three outings for the week, he picked up 3 goals, including the winner in Saturday’s 4 – 3 win over South Shore, and added 6 assists. Linemate Luke Munroe picked up 2 goals and 7 assists, while Ben Diamond contributed 4 goals, including the OT winner in Friday’s game, and added 3 assists. That totals 26 points for that unit over three games. Take your pick.

TRADES MADE
The Bearcats traded the playing rights of goalie Felix Antoine Ethier (20) to the Summerside Capitals, this year’s host for the Fred Page Cup. Coming to the Bearcats are goalie, Mavrick Goyer (19), a native of Ste. Sophie, QC, in his second year with the Capitals, and rookie defenceman, Josh Steele (19), a native of Tampa, Florida. Goyer and Steele made their Bearcat debut Saturday.
