Bearcat Bytes: Luke Munroe

#18 Luke Munroe
19-year-old Forward
Kitchener, ON
6′, 190 lbs

Bearcat-of-the-Week honours went to first-year Bearcat, Luke Munroe. Coming into this week, he leads the team in scoring with four goals and two assists in three games played. His impact was immediate. He, along with veterans, Holden Kodak and Brandon Cianflone, meshed to form a go-to unit.

He came up through the Kitchener junior Rangers U15, U16, and U18 before suiting up with the 2019-2020 Kitchener Dutchmen (GOJHL). That year he scored 12 goals and 22 points in 46 regular-season games and added another 6 points in the 6-game playoff run. The Bearcats acquired his rights in September from the Fredericton Red Wings. He brings skill and a big body to the Bearcat attack.
