Bearcat Bytes: Lucas Parsons

#81 Lucas Parsons
18-year-old Forward
Stratford, P.E.I.
5’11”, 185 lbs

Bearcat-of-the-Week honours went to second year forward, Lucas Parsons. He picked up three points over the recent home-stand, including the winner in the Bearcat-Wildcat game. More importantly, his consistent effort, regardless of line combinations or situation is always on display. He wears his “A” with pride, knowing full well the significance of it. Last year, he was named the team’s hardest worker —- for good reason.

Following his tenure with the Eastern Express Bantam AAA club, he split the 2017-18 season between the Charlottetown Pride and Pownal Red Devils. Next up was a season with the Kensington Wild scoring 17 and assisting on 14 others. At the conclusion of that season, he was selected in the second round by the Bearcats. Not often is a sophomore lettered. He’s earned that too.

TEAM ACQUISITION
The Bearcats acquired the playing rights of 20 year-old Alexandre De Gagne. The defenceman spent two seasons with the Shawinigan Cataractes and was in his second with the Victoriaville Tigers. He’s a native of Blainville, QC.
