Bearcat Bytes: #24 Shaun Bily

# 24 Shawn Bily
Doylestown, PA
5’10”, 174 lbs.
20, Forward

Bearcat-of-the-Week honors went to forward, Shaun Bily. It’s that time of year when the veterans must lead the way. In Friday’s 8- 5 win in Bridgewater against the South Shore Lumberjacks, he scored a second period hattrick and picked up an assist on Dylan Burton’s third period goal. Saturday, at home, he scored again in the 3 – 2 win over the St. Stephen

Aces. He currently leads the team in scoring with 13 goals and 15 assists. He got solid instruction through the Honey Baked Hockey Club in Farmington Hills, MI, a program designed to developing players to enable them to compete at advanced levels. One season with the Honey Baked Major Bantam led him to the 2013 – 2014 season where he suited up with the Honey Baked U 16 and the New Jersey Jr. Titans U 16. A 2014 draft pick of the Erie Otters (OHL), he suited up with the Otters for two full seasons before splitting the 2016 – 2017 season between the Otter and Quebec Remparts. Last year he played in the OJHL with the Trenton Golden Hawks. To date, he’s displayed a high skill set, obviously a good fit with the young Bearcats.
