# 15 Will Mizuik
Victoria, BC
5’10”, 190 lbs.
20, Forward

Bearcat-of-the-Week honors went to forward Will Mizuik. His second period goal in the 5 – 4 win over South Shore lit a fire under the Bearcats, evening the score and setting off an offensive onslaught to turn the game around and give the Bearcats a much needed win. He, Cole Julian and Luke MacMillan have been doing a lot of shut down duty as well.

He got his hockey start in the Victoria Grizzly Minor Program before a family move to Penticton where he suited up with the Peewee Jr. Vees. Following two years with the Victoria “AAA” Bantams, he played Prep School Hockey with the Pacific Coast Academy Sea Devils. He spent the 2015 – 2016 season with the Sicamous Eagles (KIJHL). The nest season he had a productive year in the NOJHL with the Kirkland Lake Gold Miners. He started last year with the Gold Miners before coming East to be a Bearcat. He committed to be a 200-foot forward. A November injury kept him on the DL until his return to action on February 8 th . His presence is clearly welcomed coming down the stretch.
