The Truro Bearcats have acquired forward Carson Gallant from the Valley Wildcats for a 5th round pick in the 2022 MHL Entry Draft.
The 19-year-old from Sackville, N.S. is entering his third season in the Maritime Junior Hockey League. Drafted in the 5th round of the 2018 MHL Entry Draft by the Campbellton Tigers, Gallant was dealt to Valley in November, 2018. He had two goals and three assists from the blueline in 14 games with the Wildcats in 2018-19.
In 2019-20, Gallant played in 39 games as a forward, scoring ten goals, including four on the powerplay, to go along with four assists.
