Bearcat -of-the-Week honours went to defenceman, Brady Stone. As one of three rookie rearguards on the team, he’s learning the junior game. The 2020 Bearcat draft pick came to camp this year ready for the jump. He picked up his first goal in his first junior game. He also picked up four penalty minutes in that game. He’s been busy in the latter category coming into the pause with 96 penalty minutes in 23 Bearcat games, the second highest in the MHL.

He came up through the Halifax Storm Major Bantam Program where he spent two seasons. His first U-18 season was with the Dartmouth squad, followed last year with a season with Steele Subaru. In both U-18 seasons, he showed an offensive flair scoring 19 points. Last year his play earned him a spot on the U-18 All-Star team. He brings to the Bearcats a sound skillset. While short in stature he’s clearly not short on spunk.
