Bearcat-of-the-Week honours went to forward, Ben Sheffar. He scored two goals in the deciding game of the Round Two series against the Valley Wildcats, sending the Bearcats to the Canadian Tire Cup Finals against the Summerside Capitals. The goals were big ones — the winner and the insurance tally. He, and linemates, Trey Sturge and James Beaton grew big minutes as that series progressed.
Following two seasons with the Cole Harbour U18 squad, he suited up for the Miramichi Timberwolves for the 2018-2019 season. Midway through the next season he became a Bearcat via a Trade. For the last two seasons he’s been an energy guy for the Bearcats.
