The Truro Bearcats are pleased to announce the acquisition of defenseman Brendan Bays from the Summerside Western Capitals in the completion of a previous deal.
The 20-year-old from Ottawa, Ontario played the 2018-19 season with the Ottawa Jr. Senators and appeared in the Fred Page Cup in Amherst, N.S., followed by two seasons with the QMJHL’s Quebec Remparts where he had one goal and eight assists in 54 games.
Bays’ was acquired by Summerside in June 2021 from the CCHL’s Brockville Braves.
