Leon Denny is returning to the Truro Bearcats for the 2020-21 season.
Denny, from Eskasoni, N.S., had nine goals and eight assists in 39 regular season games in 2016-17 as the Bearcats captured the MHL Cup Championship. He posted one goal and five assists in 17 playoff games that season.
Denny spent the last three seasons with the QMJHL’s Shawinigan Cataractes. In 189 games, he had 16 goals and 56 assists. Denny posted a career-high eight goals and 33 assists during the 2018-19 season.
