The Truro Bearcats announced today that they have signed 2022 draft pick, Brandon Lavoie for the 2025/26 season.
The 19 year old goalie from Lower Sackville, NS spent last season in the QMJHL with time split between Cape Breton and Victoriaville, appearing in 13 games.
Prior to his time in the QMJHL, Lavoie was a top goaltender in the NSU18MHL with the Dartmouth Steele Subarus, compiling a career record of 33-11 and collecting numerous accolades over his 2 seasons, including being named the top goaltender at U18 Atlantics that was hosted by Dartmouth.
Brandon was a 10th round pick of the Bearcats in the 2022 MHL Draft and attended camp in the 2022/23 and 2023/24 season.
