The Truro Bearcats have signed defenseman Zachary Smith.
The 19-year-old from Pembroke, Massachusetts spent last season with the Boston Advantage U18 AAA team in the United States Premier Hockey League (USPHL) where he registered three assists in seven games. In 2019-20, Smith had one goal and nine assists in 30 games with Hebron Academy of the United States High School, Preparatory (USHS-Prep).
The left-handed defenseman will add more experience to a blueline that has three returnees in Jacob Christie, Tanner Greatorex, and Dell Welton.
