The Truro Bearcats are pleased to announce the acquisition of two players,
defenceman, Jacob Evans and forward Jaden Hewes.
Evans, a native of Wausau, Wisconsin, played the 2017 – 2018 season with the Dauphin Kings (MJHL) and split last year between the Kings and Virden Oil Capitals (MJHL). The Bearcats acquired his rights from Virden, where he played 26 games to date this year.
Hewes, from Anchorage, Alaska, started his junior career with the Melville Millionaires (SJHL) this year, playing 22 games. He previously played U16 with the Nashville Jr. Predators and last year with the Dallas Stars U18.
