The Truro Bearcats have announced the acquisition of forward David Gagnon from the Carleton Place Canadians of the Central Canada Hockey League (CCHL). The 20-year-old from Halifax was drafted by the Bearcats in the 6th Round, 70th overall, in the 2017 MHL Entry Draft, but joined Carleton Place that fall.
In two seasons with the Canadians, Gagnon posted 39 goals and 43 assists in 121 games, including 28 goals and 32 assists last season as the team captured its seventh-straight regular season title.
