Bearcat Bytes: Tristan Therrien

#22 Tristan Therrien
19-year-old Forward
Prevost, QC
5’8”, 150 lbs

Bearcat-of-the-Week honours went to forward, Tristan Therrien. He led the Bearcat charge in the team’s win over the Pictou County Crushers, scoring in the third period, then picking up the winner four minutes into the OT. He came into this week second in Bearcat scoring with 15 goals and 24 assists. Clearly, he and linemates, Bair Gendunov and Caleb Hart constitute one of the MHL’s top lines.

He came up through the Nord Selects Bantam AA and AAA Program before spending the 2016-2017 season of High School hockey in St-Jerome. Next up were two years at Newbridge Academy. He started last year with the Steinback Pistons (MB) before an early-season trade to the St-Jerome Panthers where his play-making abilities were on display. His adjustment to the MHL was quick. He brings speed, smarts, and scoring to the Bearcats.
