Bearcat-of-the-Week honours went to second-year forward, Tanner Humber -Dredge. In the three wins this week he picked up two goals and seven assists. Being involved in nine of Truro’s sixteen goals is very significant and a real indication of what he brings to the table. Other considerations were Luke Munroe (five goals, one assist) and Ben Diamond (three goals, two assists).

Following a season with the Kings-Edgehill U16 team, he suited up for a pair of seasons in the Newfoundland Midget AAA League picking up 74 points in 61 games. In his second season, he was the League’s MVP and top point-getter. The 2020 Bearcat Draft pick took a look at the Estevan Bruins before reporting to Truro at the start of last year. He quickly impressed with a full skill set and a tenacious forecheck. He’s exciting to watch and tough to play against

The Truro Bearcats will tour the Maritimes before returning to play at the RECC on March 12th.
