Bearcat -of-the-Week honours went to team captain, Holden Kodak. He scored in each of the three games last week, including the first two goals of the winning effort over the visiting Lumberjacks on Saturday. He plays a big role with the team, on regular shifts, powerplay and penalty kill. Being a reliable player is a huge compliment and necessary to lead.
He spent three seasons at the Yale Hockey Academy in Abbotsford BC, growing through the U15, U16 and U18 levels. In his final U18 season he was credited with Most Goals, Most Assists and MVP of the CSSHL. Nest up was a full season in the WHL with the Kooteney Ice. In 2019-2020, he suited up with the Ice, West Kelowna (WHL) and Prince George (BCHL). He came to Truro to start the season last year and has been a contributor since.
