Bearcat-of-the-Week honours went to third-year Bearcat, Caleb Hart. In Truro’s convincing 5-2 win over Amherst he collected a hat trick, with an assist thrown in. It was quite a performance, but he’s been a hard worker since his arrival in Truro. Skating alongside Bair Gendurov and Tristan Therrien has opened up some ice for him.
Following Bantam level hockey in Markam ON, a family move brought him to Oakfield, NS. In the 2017–2018 season, he suited up with the Newbridge Academy U18 team. He came to the Bearcats the next season as an invite, determined to crack the roster. He impressed from the get-go with his skating and tenacity. As a third-year Bearcat, he plays the 200-foot game, this time with more offensive responsibility. His efforts are being rewarded.

Thursday, the Bearcats travel to New Glasgow to face the Crushers (7:00pm).
Saturday, Truro is in Amherst for a 7:00 pm game against the Ramblers.
Truro will not be home until the Dec. 18th game against Amherst.
