Bearcat-of-the-Week honours went to forward, Bryson Currie. Scoring the winning goal to cap off a series win is a big thing, especially for a rookie. It exemplifies the team effort of the Bearcats against the Amherst Ramblers, winning the Round 4-1 and advancing. That mission was accomplished.

He came up through the Truro Bearcat Major Bantam Program before spending two seasons with the Pictou County Weeks Midgets. At each stop, he proved he could score. Last year he was named to the NSU18 Second Team All-Star Squad. The Bearcats selected him as a Territorial choice in 2020 and the Moncton Wildcats made him a 2021 selection. Like the other rookie Bearcats, he’s learning the Junior game.

Games will start this week.
