This year’s version of Truro Bearcats has fewer returnees than usual. It’s incumbent on those coming back to respond to this leadership void. This third year Bearcat looks forward to the challenge of showing the newcomers the Bearcat way. Being hard to play against is part of that Bearcat game, and he’s been a leader at this his first two years.
He came up through the West Colchester Cobra Program before switching to the Truro and Area Minor Program’s Bantam level. In his second midget season he affiliated with the Newbridge Academy Gladiators seeing action throughout the playoff run. During the 2015 – 2016 season as a Steele Subaru Midget, he experienced a Provincial and Atlantic Championship and exposure at the National Telus Cup. The 2016 Bearcat draft pick has been a hardworking, up and down winger who has displayed an honest effort every shift. He looks for greater offensive opportunity this year. Creating space is a big part of that.
