Bearcat-of-the-Week honours went to forward, Ben Sheffar. He picked up his first goal as a Bearcat in the opening period of the 5 – 4 win last Saturday. As a member of an energy line with Sam Archibald and Ben Fraser, the job is clear cut. Forecheck deep in the opposition’s end and convert when the opportunity arises.
Following two seasons with the Cole Harbour Wolfpack Midgets he was drafted by Miramichi, playing all of 2018–2019 with the Timberwolves before being acquired by the Bearcats at last year’s trade deadline. He finished the season with the Sackville Blazers Junior “B” squad. He brings the Bearcats experience and tenacity, both valuable assets.

There have been plenty of them due to Covid-19 restrictions. Season Ticket holders should use appropriate tickets for the next three Bearcat games. This Friday, the Bearcats host the Amherst Ramblers. Please use the January 30th ticket.
