The first MHL All-Star evening took place Tuesday, February 11th in Edmundston with some of the top talent in the MHL taking part in a pair of 2 25 minute period games. The Young Guns game featured the top 16-18 year olds in the league while the Senior Stars game had the top 19 and 20 year olds.
The Bearcats had 6 representatives spread out across both games. Coach Jon Greenwood was one of the coaches for the Team South Young Guns while forward Isaac Arsenault and defenceman Tristan St-Gelais took part as players. In the Senior Stars game, forward Zach Marquis, defenceman Philppe Fauchon and goalie Jack Milner represented the Bearcats.
The South Young Guns defeated Team North by a score of 8-4. St-Gelais had an assist in the winning effort while Arsenault had a pair of goals including the game winner and was named the game MVP.
In the Senior Stars game, Team North edged out Team South in a razor close 3-2 shootout victory. Philippe Fauchon had an a

ssist while Zach Marquis scored the game tying goal in the second half. Jack Milner was excellent between the pipes, playing in the second half of the game stopping all 18 shots he faced before falling in the shootout. Milner was named the games Top Goaltender.
