TRURO, NS (August 28, 2025)- The Truro Bearcats are very pleased to announce the signing of 19 year old forward, Callum Aucoin (Hammonds Plains, NS) formerly of the Halifax Mooseheads.
Aucoin, 19, has spent the past 2 seasons in the QMJHL with time split between Cape Breton and Halifax, playing in 131 games and amassing 26 points.
Prior to his time in the Q, Callum was a 2 year standout with the Halifax McDonalds U18 program putting up 85 points over a pair seasons, leading to a second team all star nod in 2022/23 as well a U18 championship in 2021/22.
We are very excited to add a player of his caliber to our lineup this season!
